Since the time of Martin Luther, the Lutheran Church has been known as the "singing church". We continue to enrich our worship and celebrations with a priceless collection of liturgies, choral works, and hymns through which we express our faith. Bethlehem is blessed with many gifted musicians who continue in this rich tradition and lift our spirits each week.  On any given Sunday you may hear the organ, flute, oboe, French horn, guitar, dulcimer, marimba or piano.  Our Director of Music is Paula Easterwood, and if you have a musical talent, she would love to make you part of the musician's group!

 About our organ

organ1Hinners OrganBethlehem's organ is a sixteen rank instrument originally built around 1927 by the Hinners Organ Company for Immanuel Lutheran Church in Carrollton, Missouri. Bethlehem purchased the organ from Immanuel in 1977. Michael Quimby (Quimby Pipe Organ) took charge of the instrument's move and installation at Bethlehem. The organ and console are located in the rear gallery of the church.
